Who I am…

I have been captivated by cameras, photography, and videography for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by cameras, thanks to my dad’s unwavering passion for documenting our childhood—a gift I’m deeply grateful for!

Over the past four years, I’ve honed my photography skills as a second shooter at weddings. Additionally, I served as the multimedia director for a statewide college organization, a role that took me across Louisiana’s universities to create impactful video content. I renamed my photography brand to Reywas when I was going through a really rough time in life (it’s my nephew’s name backwards; as he was the biggest light in my life at the time). Now I am looking to focus more on editing.

A few fun facts about me: I adore the simple pleasure of catching the scent of someone’s laundry while strolling through a neighborhood. I’m also an avid rock climber—if you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it!

Currently, I’m on a mission to achieve near fluency in Spanish. I even took a year-long break from photo and video work to live in Spain, teaching English and immersing myself in the culture. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and I’m always excited for the next adventure.

My Teva short film is one of my favorite projects to this day.
